PKU reaches across the world via ClassIn

ClassIn connected Chinese students and schools from across the globe.
Due to the pandemic, the 10th Peking University Study Abroad Fair was replaced by an online event. Students and the school representatives from all around the world could connect through ClassIn live streaming feature. This year, Peking University (PKU) invited its international sister universities, including Standford University, Chicago University, Yale University, Oxford University, University of Munich, Embassy of France in China, Embassy of Japan in China, Hanyang University, etc. The schools had live sessions through ClassIn to present the school and study programs overseas.

PKU & ClassIn:
During the spring semester of 2020, PKU has offered 3,202 online courses from undergraduate to doctoral levels across all academic and non-academic disciplines for over 3 months. The university lecturers were given 5 different options in deciding which medium to use, 82% of them chose ClassIn. Based on the feedback received from professors, ClassIn has provided greater interaction and connectivity in class. In addition, a research conducted in PKU School of Education found that ClassIn was selected as “the most popular educational platform” among all available platforms in PKU, including Tencent Conference, Zoom, MOOC, Canvas and Microsoft. Students also selected ClassIn as the platform that allows them to have the best online education experience comparable to off-line settings, and ensure learning continuity in the midst of global pandemic.
